Hi.
My name is Chalmoor Stardom, but you can call me Cracker. I live with my best friend Chalmoor Touched By Gold, better known as Milo. I'm a Tri Colour and Milo is a Sable. We are Shetland Sheepdogs, or Shelties.
We may be small, but we have strong hearts and love our owner Steve to bits. He loves us both too. We go out for walks to many different places.
This is our page. I like to call it "The Dog's Page", because that's what we are! I will write about us here. Also, if I can get on the computer to type anything, I shall maybe write about one or two adventures that we have all been on.
I hope you will enjoy your visit. You can leave me or Milo a message on the Guest Book page. We look forward to hearing from you soon.

I'm Cracker. I was born on 29th September 2006. I'm a Tricolour Shetland Sheepdog. I always have a happy disposition and can raise my owner Steve's spirits even when he's had a most stressful day!

He has always liked Shelties, probably due to our size, expression and temperament. He used to own a Sable Sheltie called Max (Max Magic Moonlight). Sadly he passed away aged 8, long before his time poor chap. Max's passing left a huge hole in my owner's life and as Shelties are "hard to come by" he resigned himself to the notion of never having another. However, the hole needed filling, so he started looking. He was willing to travel far and wide to find a new companion. The good lord must have smiled on him as he was told of a good breeder only 15 miles away from where he lives! He rang, the breeder said she had one left, (me), that wasn't entire, (only one testicle had dropped). If we got on I could go and live with him. As I was only ever going to be a pet and not a show dog, me not being entire wasn't a problem to him. We met, instant bond and the rest is history as they say.

Steve, my owner, may be going soft in his old age, because he says "I can honestly say, with my hand on my heart, Cracker is the most faithful, loving dog I have known. I look forward to many happy years".

Aah, what a nice thing to say about me. But, I must say when I meet people out on my walks, everyone seems to like me. Little do they know I can be a Rascal when I want to be! Ha! Ha!

When I went to live with Steve, he also gained some new friends in the Breeders, Janet and Michael. They are a lovely couple. Anyway, one day he received a phone call asking if he had room for another Sheltie. Of course he did! But why? Well, apparently, one of the new pups was being bullied by all the other Shelties and due to his placid nature wouldn't fight back. As I'm such a nice chap I told Steve to go and rescue the poor little mite, which he did!

Enter Milo. He's a Sable and was born on 19th May 2007, so Steve thought with a bit of luck he would be the perfect chum for me. I was a bit concerned about his colouring. Would he remind Steve too much of Max, (who was also a Sable)? I needn't have worried as his character is the complete opposite of poor Max.

Milo is indeed very gentle. Gorgeous markings, he walks proud and certainly knows when he's "on show". Like me, he lights up the room as soon as he enters.

Milo settled in very well with me and Steve, but for a while I thought I'd have problems as he was very, very reserved. But slowly and surely he came out of his shell and now the two of us are inseperable. Milo is no longer the "Shrinking Violet" that he was.

We get up to all sorts of mischief. Our favourite trick is to hide Steve's slippers from him. When Milo was still a young lad I showed him how to chew underpants! That was great fun! He! He!
