I was hired to take the portrait shown left. The pose was to mimic as close as possible a portrait the owners had of Millie when she was a mere pup, all dark fur with not a trace of white! I didn't take the 'pup' portrait.
Luckily, they were living at the same address and the garden was basically the same design. I was therefore able to get quite a good likeness in the background. Millie was a little slow on her paws, but she was such a lovely sitter, it was easy to get the shot.
Thanks to Millie's owner's foresight, they have something to keep her memory alive.
